Arete Homeschooling Collaborative is a Classical Christian homeschool collective in Panama City, Florida. AHC is a community of homeschool families and qualified instructors who collaborate to provide rigorous academic coursework, positive peer interactions, support, and fellowship. Our philosophy of education is summed up in our name, Arete: a Greek word meaning virtue, excellence, and reaching full potential in the Lord.  We believe that every child is created in the image of God. Therefore, the purpose of education is to develop the whole person: minds that know Him, hearts that love Him, and souls that seek Him.
